Early Fall and the weather is still practically perfect. Just days before I got to do a really fun formal session in downtown Chicago with Emily and Jeff and so I was all in Bullock Wedding mode come Friday. Emily and Jeff were sealed in the beautiful Chicago LDS Temple close to where Emily’s family is from. There was so much family and lots of them came from very far away. It was so beautiful to see cousins reunite and all of the little girls oogle at Emily’s wedding dress. When I asked one of them who her favorite princess was she said “Princess Emily”. Awww! They were all so well behaved and did so well even under the bright bright sun.
Who doesn’t love seeing Grandma, I’m sure she was also thrilled to see all of her grandkids together :)
The little girls’ dresses and shoes were so cute!
After a few family pictures at the temple in Glenview we headed over to the Chicago Botanic Gardens with the whole gang for some more pictures at the beautiful gardens. It is so gorgeous there, so many places to shoot! I absolutely loved this one, bridesmaids are always so fun.
After we got lots of fun pictures with the family Emily and Jeff stuck around and we walked around the different gardens taking lots more pictures.
After pictures at the Botanic Gardens we went back to DeKalb for a reception. Emily and her bridesmaids did such a wonderful job with all the little details. She had an awesome candy bar that was all blinged out with tons of pink lights everywhere. That was probably the kids favorite spot to hang out. They also had lots of pies to choose from and instead of cutting into a cake they did a “pie cutting” since neither of them like cake very much. I love all the personal touches and love it when people do something unique.
